Google Sites

So as I've mentioned before, in my Online Journalism class we are designing our own online porfolio. We were given two options to design our portfolio with: wordpress or google sites. Both sites are awesome but I have choosen wordpress. It's amazing how many options I have when creating my portfolio. First, I picked a template I wanted to use. Next, I can change any color to match what I want. I can really make my pages look exactly like I have pictured them in my head. Everything is coming together and I'm very excited. Online Portfolio

So for the past couple of weeks, we have been in the process of making an online portfolio in my Online Journalism class. I had never thought about having an online portfolio before this class, but have realized it really is a pretty cool idea. After deciding what content we want to put on the pages, we made a rough draft of what we want our final page to look like. We decided what colors we wanted, text and pictures. We also decided where we want to put everything so it fits and looks appealing. We had the choice to either work with wordpress or google sites. I had no idea there were so many options to choose from. I am excited to have everything done and perfectly the way I want.
